Customer Spotlight: Forslund Crane Services

Forslund Crane Services is a family-owned business, founded in 1954 by Vice President Kami Forslund’s grandfather. Back then, it was Forslund Construction, but today, crane services comprise the bulk of the business.

To date, the company has worked with Willamette Community bank for about five years. They made the switch from a larger financial institution, which had grown too big to meet their needs. “They had that ‘big bank’ mentality,” Forslund said. “They were difficult to work with, our accounts were neglected, and the services they offered just didn’t fit our needs.”

Looking for a local community institution, Forslund met with Willamette Community Bank. Right away, the difference was apparent in terms of both service and availability. So when Willamette Community Bank approached the company to test their new cash management app, Forslund said yes.

This offering — WCB Cash Management App — puts a powerful suite of financial tools on the customer’s mobile phone.

The Cash Management system is not a one-size-fits all: quite the opposite. The relationship between Willamette Community Bank and Forslund Crane Services is multi-faceted, and the bank worked closely with Kami Forslund to provide a customized online suite of products and services, now further supported with the convenience of the new WCB Cash Management App.

“Willamette Community Bank is always available,” Forslund said. “I’m really happy with the service we’ve gotten there.”

With the support of Forslund Crane Services testing the new cash management app, Willamette Community Bank is now able to offer it to all business customers who could benefit from it. Collaborating closely with you, we can develop a powerful custom suite of cash management services to suit your company’s needs, enhanced with the convenience and flexibility of the WCB Cash Management App. (Find out more about WCB Cash Management here.)

At Willamette Community Bank, we appreciate Forslund Crane Services working with us as we developed this new offering. It’s been our pleasure, in turn, to help the company meet its goals. Small businesses are the principal arteries of the local economy: they provide the jobs and services that allow a community to breathe and grow. At Willamette Community Bank, we’re proud to have their back.
